About Tim Sodhi

I’m a technology leader, architect, and lifelong tinkerer based in Tampa, Florida. I work where complex systems meet the people who depend on them: digital platforms, cloud infrastructure, applications, data, and the everyday work of making technology useful rather than merely impressive.

Professionally, I lead enterprise digital platforms and applications in higher-education advancement. That means building reliable foundations, translating real needs into practical systems, and helping teams work through change. I have engineering roots and still like to understand the wiring—building, solving systems problems, and turning messy requirements into something people can use and trust.

This site is both an archive and a current notebook. The older posts come from a long-running stretch of writing about Macs, open source, software, and homelabs. Newer pieces cover what I’m learning, building, and figuring out now: AI, platforms, automation, systems, and occasionally life around them.

I don’t write as a brand or pretend every experiment is a finished answer. This is a place for useful things, honest notes, and the occasional rabbit hole worth documenting.
