Rather disappointed that Dell has discontinued the Axim pocket pc series, and would not release a firmware upgrade to WM6, I took it upon myself to look for ways and means around it. And lo and behold, from sources I shall not disclose I found such a ROM update for my PPC optimized for Dell Axim x51v, and there you go! A WM6 Axim! Dun believe me? Here you are!

Works like a charm, all the programs and applications work just splendid. Since WM6 is supported by Markspace, I faced no hiccups in the update and subsequent reinstallations! Tally Ho! And also, Tally, HI – miss you in the office and hope to see ya soon after your vacation! Have fun!
